Photoshop Express: It’s easy … and free!

At the end of March, Adobe released an “express” version of its claim to fame software program, Photoshop. The beta version of the program, Adobe Express, is available to online to anyone. While it doesn’t have the capability or all of the functions of the very pricey and high-powered program, it is a wonderful application for those seeking to do basic photo editing for online posting, blogging, or to send to friends and family.
Some of Photoshop Express’ features include cropping and rotating, quick touch-ups, sharpening, color hues, tints, and soft focus.
Before testing the application, Adobe requires you to sign up by creating a profile. Once you log on and get it running, Photoshop Express allows you to store up to 2 GB of your personal photos. You can create different galleries or browse through others’ galleries. It also allows you to connect to your Facebook, Photobucket and Picasa albums in order to edit and re-post those photos online.
Photoshop Express is easy to use, and best of all … it’s free. So for those who are looking to just do basic editing of their vacation or family photos, you should definitely give it a whirl. For more information, check out http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/photoshopexpress/.
